In bad weather there is seating under a shelter. The road is municipal and maintained all year round; access is no problem even in the winter months.

The village of Sklené lies in the Turčianske Teplice district of the Žilina region, in north-western Slovakia. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers ideal conditions for recreation and relaxation. The village is also known for its Finnish houses. "They were completed in 1951 and were originally officers' flats"; today villagers live in them. Many are also visited by cottagers looking to relax.
